The New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance has an online portal for individuals to determine eligibility, submit applications, and track application status. The portal provides access to a variety of programs for residents of various needs and backgrounds. These programs include Temporary Assistance (TA), which provides cash assistance to eligible needy adults and children. Family Assistance (FA) provides cash assistance to eligible needy families that include a minor child living with a parent(s) or a caretaker relative. Safety Net Assistance (SNA) provides cash assistance to eligible needy individuals and families who are not eligible for FA. In addition, the portal provides access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), and other human services benefit programs.
